Belonging, Intimacy Within & Without, with Musique

The term ‘intimacy’ is one that is often used within the context of romantic relationships, and sometimes close friendships and family. Rarely do we consider sharing intimacy with people with whom we have not yet developed familiarity. In this workshop, we shift our perception to observe ourselves through the ‘other’. To observe how our inner child desires to be seen and how our inner adult is most afraid of just that. Together we acknowledge and shed light on the awkwardness in being human, the waves we experience through a list of emotions, and the duality of the dark and light within our being. Through eye gazing, sharing silence, and holding space with total strangers, we remind each other that we belong. Our bodies, our minds, our emotions belong here. This is true intimacy.

10mins:   Introductions & Event breakdown

10mins:   Heart opening meditation & Intention setting

20mins:   1st activity: intuitive non-verbal interactions

30mins:   2nd activity: eye gazing 5 mins + 3 mins discuss with partner; 3 rounds

20mins:   3rd activity : holding space, each partner speaks for 5 minutes

15mins:   Discussion ; Closing circle ; Gratitude
